Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about your treatment journey
1. What is GLP-1 and how does it help with weight loss?
GLP-1 is a hormone that helps regulate appetite and blood sugar. Medications that mimic GLP-1 can help you feel fuller longer, reduce cravings, and support sustainable weight loss.
2. Do I need a prescription for GLP-1 medications?
Yes. All GLP-1 medications require a prescription from a licensed medical provider following an evaluation of your health and weight-loss goals.
3. How do I know if I qualify for treatment?
You can schedule a quick telehealth consultation with one of our licensed providers to assess your eligibility based on medical history, BMI, and current health conditions.
4. What medications do you prescribe?
If medication is part of your treatment plan, we've got you covered. We offer both FDA-approved GLP-1RA medications, such as semaglutide and tirzepatide (brand names like Wegovy® or Zepbound®), as well as sterile compounded products. The product we recommend depends on your individual needs and will be determined upon meeting with the doctor.
5. How is the medication administered?
Most GLP-1 medications are administered via a once-weekly injection. Your provider will walk you through how to use it safely and comfortably at home.
6. Is this service available nationwide?
Yes! We provide telehealth consultations and ship prescriptions discreetly across the U.S., wherever we are legally licensed.
7. How much does the treatment cost?
Pricing can vary based on your prescribed dosage and duration of treatment. We’ll go over everything transparently during your consultation. We also have special promotions for first time customers to get you started on a comprehensive program affordably.
8. Do you accept insurance?
Currently, we operate on a cash-pay model to keep things simple and accessible. Some patients may use FSA/HSA funds, depending on the plan.
9. Are there any side effects?
Common side effects include nausea, fatigue, and digestive changes. Our medical team will monitor your progress and help manage any issues.
10. Can I cancel or pause my treatment?
Yes, you can cancel or pause your subscription at any time through your patient portal or by contacting our support team
11. Does the medication need to be refrigerated?
Upon receipt, patients should refrigerate the medication. It is shipped with ice packs but can remain at room temperature (upon shipping or after arrival) for up to 96 hours.
